About Our Company
Whitaker's Sport Store and Motel has been family owned and operated since 1976. We are located in Pulaski, New York which is in the eastern basin of Lake Ontario. Our home water is the famous Salmon River, which is the premier destination fishery for trophy salmon and steelhead in the entire northeast.
Our sport shop is fully equipped with hard core gear for the serious salmon and steelhead angler. We specialize in salmon and steelhead fishing. We are a complete fly shop with accessories and hard to find fly tying materials. We offer a full line of float fishing supplies & accessories, as well as light line drift fishing gear and equipment.
Our shop is staffed by knowledgeable personnel, able to help with information, fishing expertise, river locations, bait or fly selection or just plain old fashion service.

Whitaker's also has a 9 unit motel, so if you're from out of town, or just want to stay where the fishing is we can accommodate you. Our motel rooms are clean, affordable, offer easy access from your vehicle to your room, along with plenty of parking.
