Daily Report

The shop and motel are both now open and we are ready for the upcoming season. New fall products along with our preseason orders will be arriving soon. At this point we've only spoken with a handful of anglers who have fished the river, not much to report, most anglers have seen one or none depending on the day.  But with excellent fishing in the lake it won't be long at this point and were very excited about the upcoming season. As mentioned the lake fishing continues to be very good with charter captains reporting great catch rates along with healthy fish. We've been getting out on the lake when conditions allow it and have caught some nice fish and have also been marking lots of fish. The fish have already begun staging and were mostly fishing 100-130 feet of water off the Salmon River depending on the wind and lake conditions. Most of the normal stuff is all working, flasher/fly, cut bait, spoons and j-plugs are all catching fish depending on the day.
