Tuesday was another dry day with mostly calm conditions and the temperature reached near 50 degrees. The forecast calls for the temperatures to gradually warm up as we head through the week along with mostly dry conditions. At 7:30AM on Wednesday morning the release from the dam was lowered to 750cfs. Yesterday the majority of bank anglers we spoke with reported having a good day on the main river as well as some of the smaller local tributaries. The drift boat anglers are taking advantage of the higher water conditions while covering lots of water and also having plenty of drop back action as well. For those anglers who are fly fishing, dead drifting with streamers or egg patterns under a strike indicator has produced steady results. For those anglers who are bottom bouncing or float fishing, egg sacs, beads and pink worms have all produced steady results.
