Daily Report
March 16 2018
On Friday we had very high winds and temperature only reached into the mid 20's for the high. Anglers had to deal with 20-25mph winds and with the wind chilll factor the temperature felt like single digits. We got mixed reports from anglers, some anglers just arrived for the weekend and others had fished the last couple of days. Overall the majority of anglers we spoke with reported getting into fish, some reported they didn't do as well as the previous day, but still had some action. The anglers we spoke with who fished the lower end of the river had the most success while float fishing with egg sacs. In the upper end of the river anglers who were fly fishing had the most success with wiggle stones, rusher nymphs and black stoneflies.
