Daily Report

Over the past few days we have had very windy and cold conditions. The water flow continues to be at a higher but fishable level.  The forecasted flow through April 12th from the powerhouse in Altmar is 1,500 CFS.  Fishing pressure has been light but more anglers have shown up for the weekend.  Most of the anglers have been fishing up river from the upper fly zone down to Pineville.  The spin and centerpin anglers have had success using egg sacs in pink and blue as well as pink worms.  Fly anglers have had success dead drifting pink worm flies, egg patterns in blue, pink and chartreuse and black stone fly patterns.
