Daily Report

October 29 2018

Over the weekend we had cold and wet conditions with steady rain showers and the temperature was near 40 degrees. We had mixed results from anglers, some groups did well, while others had a tough time. The anglers who had the most success covered lots of water in the mid to lower end of the river. In the upper end of the river anglers reported salmon still spawning in the gravel areas. Dead drifting egg patterns and swinging streamers in the transition water has produced the best results. The most productive patterns have been egg sucking leeches, flesh flies, woolly buggers, glo-bugs, estaz eggs, sucker spawn and steelhead buggers.
