Daily Report

November 03 2018

On Saturday we had cold and very windy conditions along with scattered rain showers. No question the water level is high, combine that with rain, cold and windy conditions and it's no surprise anglers had a tough day. That being said anglers are still here and trying to make the most of conditions while fishing from drift boats or along the banks. The upper end of the river in Altmar had the best water conditions. Your dealing with the least amount of runoff, the least amount of leaves and the best water clarity. For those anglers who don't feel comfortable with the current water level, some of the smaller local tributaries are another option. Over the last couple of days the most productive patterns have been flesh flies, black egg sucking leeches and egg patterns. For those anglers who are bottom bouncing or float fishing, pink and blue egg sacs have produced results. Don't forget about daylight savings and set the clocks back.
