Daily Report

November 16 2018

Please check the waterline for the latest update, the water level is coming down for the weekend.  On Friday it looked like a winter wonderland with the foot of snow we picked up from the recent storm. In the morning the wet snow showers continued, but in the afternoon the temperature reached into the mid 30's and it changed over to rain. The majority of anglers we spoke with reported getting into some fish throughout the river. The anglers who had success while fly fishing were using indicators with egg patterns or dead drifting with nymphs and small streamers. Anglers reported that the fish were holding along the inside seams and softer edges of the transition water.  For those anglers who are bottom bouncing or float fishing, pink and blue egg sacs or beads have produced steady results on a daily basis. Over the last couple of days the most productive fly patterns have been estaz eggs, steelhead hammer, sucker spawn, woolly buggers, wiggle stones, flesh flies and egg sucking leeches.

Just a reminder that the shop and motel will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
