water-temp Water Temp 35F

Daily Report

November 26 2018

On Monday the temperature was near 40 degrees along with steady rain showers throughout the day. Over the last the last couple of days the temperature has been in the low 40's and with the recent rain we lost most of our snow. Anglers reported increased runoff in the lower end of the river along with off color water conditions. The few anglers we spoke with reported having some action in the upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville. Anglers reported that the upper end of the river had the best water clarity and least amount runoff. Single egg patterns and nymphs produced the best results for those anglers who were fly fishing. Anglers who were bottom bouncing or float fishing had the most success with egg sacs.
