Daily Report

On Friday we had an arctic blast of very cold conditions and the temperature struggled to get out of the single digits. The extremely cold weather is expected to continue as we go through the weekend and we have roughly 6 inches of snow on the ground. Slush ice was a factor in the lower end of the river and did not clear. The few anglers we spoke with before heading out were planning on fishing the upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville. We did get any reports from anglers at the end of the day.
