WELCOME BACK.

These past several months have been challenging for everyone and we are appreciative and grateful for your business. Our goal at Whitakers is to keep everyone safe and help you with the right products and guidance to catch fish while providing unsurpassed customer service.

As we reopen the shop, our cleaning efforts have increased. The team is cleaning hard surfaces with increased frequency and we have added protective shields and sanitizing stations.  We have also added a high volume air purifier for everyone’s protection. Social distancing will be required. For your safety, employees will be washing hands regularly and wearing face masks in compliance with the New York State mandate; face masks are required in the store, If you have a fever, cough or feeling ill, please do not enter the store.

For our motel guests, clean means clean. All our rooms have been deep cleaned prior to your arrival. We have made changes to checkin and checkout times to provide additional time for our staff to clean and sanitize the rooms:

*Checkin time is changed from 1:00PM to 4:00PM.

*Checkout time has changed from 11:00AM to 10:00AM.

*Cooking in the rooms is prohibited. The Fire Code and the Health Department rules both prohibit it. Leave any plugin appliances at home e.g. toaster ovens, crockpots, electric fry skillets, etc.

WORD TO THE WISE; get your fishing license online BEFORE you arrive in Pulaski. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has implemented a new license issuance system. There may be glitches, problems and longer wait times for in person license sales. We strongly suggest you get your fishing license online BEFORE you arrive.

These are challenging times and we are all in this together. We want you to enjoy our renown fishery, so please be smart; wear a mask, stay safe and do your part to help save lives. Thank you.

Look forward to seeing you soon.
