Daily Report
February 16 2021
Over the last couple of days the best action reported by anglers continues to be in the upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville. The Lower Fly Zone continues to produce action on a daily basis but is also getting the most pressure. The few anglers we did speak with who fished the lower end of the river reported getting into a few fish. For those anglers who are fly fishing dead drifting with nymphs or indicator fishing with pale colored single egg patterns has produced the best results. Anglers who are bottom bouncing or float fishing have had the most success with blue, pink and chart egg sacs or beads.
