It was a great week of beautiful weather with well above average temperatures, but with the mild weather comes the high water from a combination of melting snow from the Tug Hill and recent rain. It's no surprise that with the recent runoff the water level from the dam has been increased. The few anglers who are still amking the trip will most likely be with drift boat guides, checking out some of the smaller local tributaries or fishing the upper end of the river in Altmar where you have the best visibility and least amount of runoff.
