On Saturday we had another cold start in the morning with the temperature near 20 degrees but with plenty of sunshine the temperature reached into the mid 40's in the afternoon. The few anglers we spoke with reported getting into fish at some of the smaller local tributaries and in the upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville. Anglers who were bottom bouncing or float fishing had the most success with pink and blue egg sacs. The anglers who fly fishing had the most success dead drifting with egg patterns or swinging woolly buggers with sinking leaders. Just a reminder that the shop and motel will be closed on Easter Sunday.
