Daily Report
April 13 2021
On Monday we had cloudy conditions with light showers late in the afternoon and the temperature was in the mid 50's. Over the last couple of days anglers have been getting into drop backs in the mid to lower section of the river. Anglers have been having the most success around RT2A, Papermill, Town Pool, Longbridge/Staircase, Black Hole and the DSR. As of right now we still currently have a mix of spawning fish holding in and around the gravel areas along with fish that have completed the spawning process and are dropping back. Those fish tend to hold in the faster water of the bigger holes and larger runs. For those anglers who are fly fishing, dead drifting with egg patterns or swinging streamers with sinking leaders has produced the best results. For those anglers who are bottom bouncing or float fishing, pink and blue egg sacs, beads or pink worms has produced the best results.
