Daily Report

November 27 2017

Monday was a cold and windy day and the warmest part of the day was in the morning. We started out in the upper 30's and the temperature dropped throughout the day and we finished up in the mid 20's. The good news is that mild conditions are expected over the next couple of days. Now that the holiday weekend is over the fishing pressure has dropped off from where it was. We got mixed reports from anglers, some groups did well, while others had a slow day.  The anglers we spoke with who got into fish did so in the upper and lower end of the river. Anglers who were fly fishing in the upper end of the river got into fish on nymphs and single egg patterns. Anglers who were fly fishing in the lower end of the river got into fish on egg patterns under a strike indicator. Anglers who were float fishing had steady results with pink or blue egg sacs and beads.
