Daily Report

April 15 2022

On Thursday the warmest part of the day was in the morning with the temperature in the upper 60's, as the day went on the temperature dropped into the 40's by the evening along with scattered rain showers. Overall the majority of anglers we spoke with reported getting into drop backs throughout the river. We currently have a mix of spawning fish in and around gravel areas as well as fish that have completed the spawning process and are heading back to the lake. Anglers also reported having action in some fo the smaller local tributaries. Anglers who are fly fishing for the drop backs have been having the most success swinging woolly buggers, leeches and zonkers.
