Daily Report
September 19 2022
Over the weekend we had increased fishing pressure which is normal for this time of year. On Saturday we had bright and sunny conditions and the temperature reached into the 80's. It made for tough fish movement and anglers reported the best activity was first thing in the morning after that fish just seemed to hold up in the deeper pools. On Sunday we had cloudy conditions along with some scattered rain showers that didn't amount to much. Anglers did report that the fish movement was a little better with mostly singles or small pods on the move. Warm and muggy conditions are expected over the next couple of days along with some scattered storms. Cooler weather conditions are expected for later in the week and upcoming weekend. As fresh fish continue to enter the river, the lower end of the river continues to get the most attention in areas such as RT 2A, Ballpark area, Town Pool, Longbridge/Staircase, Black Hole and DSR. A few of the anglers we did speak with who fished the mid to upper end of the river reported some fish holding in the deeper holes and larger runs.
