Daily Report

Please check the waterline for the latest update, the water level has finally come down to a season low and is now running at the summer base flow of 185cfs.  Thursday was another hot and humid day with the temperature reaching near 80 degrees again. With the recent drop in water level and hot weather the water temperature has gone up. The majority of steelhead have dropped back to Lake Ontario but you may still find the occasional drop back in the lower end of the river. With the rise in water temperature the smallmouth bass fishing in the lower end of the river has been excellent with woolly buggers producing the best results.
