Daily Report

Tuesday was another mild day with the temperature reaching into the mid 40's. The majority of anglers we spoke with reported getting into fish both in the upper and lower end of the river. The anglers we spoke with who fished the Lower Fly Zone reported getting into fish with nymphs and small egg patterns producing the best results. Anglers who were bottom bouncing between Altmar and Pineville reported that blue egg sacs produced the best results. The anglers we spoke with who fished the mid section of river worked hard for the few fish they got, but said this section of river had the least amount of anglers and the solitude was worth it. Most of the anglers we spoke with who fished the lower section of river reported getting into some fresh chrome with flies, beads and egg sacs all producing steady results.
