At this time of year it's normal that the majority of steelhead have finished up spawning and have reutrned to Lake Ontario. Your best chance of any remaining steelhead is generally in the lower end of the river. This time of year also provides some great opportunity for smallmouth bass fishing in the lower end of the river as well.
