Daily Report

December 21 2023

On Wednesday we had calm and cloudy conditions for most of the day with the sun coming out late in the afternoon. The water level is still high with plenty of runoff but some anglers have still made the trip and are making the most of conditions. The drift boats are taking advantage of the high water and covering lots of water. The majority of bank anglers are in the upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville while fishing the inside seams and softer water along the edges. For those anglers not comforatble with the high water on the main river, some of the smaller local tributaries provide another opportunity.
