Daily Report

January 12 2018

Please check the waterline for the latest update. Thursday was another mild day with mostly cloudy conditions and the temperature reached near 50 degrees. Last night the rain rolled in and as of this morning the temperature was in the mid 50's and heavy rain was moving through the area. Tonight the temperature is expected to drop along with much colder weather conditions and heavy lake effect snow. On Thursday the few anglers we spoke with enjoyed a beautiful day on the water in the mid to upper end of the river. For those anglers who were fly fishing, dead drifting nymphs or single egg patterns under a strike indicator produced the best results. Anglers who were bottom bouncing or float fishing had the most success with egg sacs, pink worms and beads.
