Daily Report

On Thursday we picked up a few inches of lake effect snow and the temperature reached into the 20's. The weather is expected to warm up as we go through the upcoming weekend. Please check the waterline for the latest, the water level did drop from 2200cfs to 2000cfs which isn't much, but at least were moving in the right direction. Over the last couple of days very few anglers have been on the water, mostly drift boats taking advantage of the higher water conditions and a handful of bank anglers in the upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville. Bottom bouncing or float fishing with egg sacs and beads has produced the best results.
