On Wednesday we had cooler and mostly cloudy conditions with the temperature in the 40's. The extended foecast shows high pressure moving in with warmer and dry conditions for the upcoming weekend and into early next week. Yesterday the majority of anglers we spoke with who fished the lower end of the river reported getting into a mix of kings and a few steelhead. Anglers stopping into the shop who fished the mid to upper end of the river reported getting into mostly kings along with a few cohos and steelhead. Depending on the day anglers have been getting into fish in the Upper & Lower Fly Fishing Zones, Ellis Cove, Trestle Pool area, Sportsman Pool area, Ballpark, Staircase/Longbridge, Black Hole and the DSR.

Current Shop hours: Monday - Thursday 7:00AM - 7:00PM. Friday & Saturday 7:00AM - 8:00PM. Sunday 7:00AM - 7:00PM.

Suggested patterns:

Eggs: estaz eggs, glo-bugs, sucker spawn.

Streamers: Egg sucking leeches, comets, woolly buggers.

Nymphs: estaz stones, rubber legged stones.
