On Saturday we had much cooler conditions with the temperature struggling to reach near 50 degrees. It was not as windy as the previous day, so leaves were not much of a factor. Yesterday the majority of anglers we spoke with who fished the DSR reported having a good day while getting into mostly steelhead. Anglers have been having success with a variety of techniques producing results whether it's fly fishing, float fishing or bottom bouncing. Anglers stopping into the shop who fished the mid to upper end of the river reported getting into a few steelhead as well. Depending on the day anglers have been getting into fish in the Upper & Lower Fly Fishing Zones, Ellis Cove, Trestle Pool area, Sportsman Pool area, Staircase/Longbridge, Black Hole and the DSR.

Current Shop hours: Monday - Thursday 7:00AM - 7:00PM. Friday & Saturday 7:00AM - 8:00PM. Sunday 7:00AM - 7:00PM.

Suggested patterns:

Eggs: estaz eggs, glo-bugs, sucker spawn.

Streamers: Egg sucking leeches, comets, woolly buggers.
