Daily Report

March 14 2025

On Friday we had blue skies with plenty of sunshine and the temperature reached 60 degrees. The very mild weather conditions are expected to continue as we go through the weekend with temperature reaching into the 60's.  With the melting snow from the warm weather keep an eye on the water levels as the warm weather continues into next week. In the upper end of the river anglers have been getting into steelhead in the normal winter holding areas, such as Lower Flyfishing Zone, Schoolhouse Pool, Wire Hole, Ellis Cove, Trestle Pool, Pineville and Sportsman Pool. In the lower end of the river anglers have been getting into steelhead in the Town pool, Longbridge, Black Hole and the DSR. Anglers who are fly fishing have had the most success dead drifting with nymphs or indicator fishing with egg patterns. For those anglers who are bottom bouncing or float fishing, beads, egg sacs or pink worms have all produced results.
