Daily Report

On Sunday we had cloudy conditions with scattered rain showers and the temperature reached into the 50's in the afternoon.  It's no surprise that with the recent rain the dam release was increased to 2200cfs and Pineville gauge is around 2960cfs.  Yesterday of the few anglers we spoke with, some fished the upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville, some were going to the smaller local tributaries and some were floating the river with drift boat guides. Either way it seemed everyone was trying to do the same thing and make the most of conditions. 

Shop hours:

Monday - Saturday 8:00AM - 6:00PM.

Sunday 8:00AM - 5:00PM.

Suggested patterns:

Eggs: Steak-N-Eggs, Estaz eggs, steelie omelet, glo-bugs, sucker spawn.

Streamers: Crystal buggers, woolly buggers, zonkers, bunny leeches, egg sucking leeches.

Nymphs: Prince nymphs, copper john's, pheasant tails, wiggle stones, steelhead hammer, beadhead stones, rubber legged stones.
