Daily Report

On Saturday it was no surprise that the numbers of anglers fishng the river increased from what we saw during the week. The majority of action has been in the lower end of the river which is normal for this time of year. Areas such as the DSR, Black Hole, Staircase/Longbridge, Town Pool and Ballpark typically produce the best early season action. Anglers we spoke with who fished the DSR over the last couple of days reported seeing or landing mostly kings. We got mixed reports from other anglers stopping into the shop depending on where they fished. Some reported landing one or two, others said they hooked fish but didn't land any, others said they saw some fish moving thru and some said they didn't see anything. It's still early and the best is yet to come, but were off to a good start.
