Daily Report

The shop is now reopen for the season, as preseason orders continue to roll in were stocking up and getting ready. Depending on the product and or brand were still dealing with some supply chain issues, but as of right now were at least starting the season off with most items available. If your coming up fishing for your annual trip and worried about not being able to get a particular item or specific size, it's always good to plan ahead. Several customers have already called or emailed about certain products. 

Most of the traffic through the shop right now has been anglers getting ready for the fall run, either stocking up on fly tying materials or getting new fly line and backing.

A few anglers have been hitting the river in hopes of some early season salmon before things get busy. The LOC Derby on Lake Ontario started on August 19th and runs through Labor Day. On the days the boats can get out, the fishing has been good with a mix of kings, browns and lakers depending on what species your trying to target.

The motel opens up for the season this weekend. The open dates are posted on the motel page of the website. Several of you have already called or email to confirm your dates, so thank you for doing so.
