Over the last couple of days we've had mild weather conditions with the temperature reaching near 70 degrees. The warm weather is expected to continue right through the weekend. In the lower end of the river depending on the day, anglers have been getting into steelhead around the Ballpark, Staircase/Longbridge, Black Hole area and throughout the DSR. Anglers having the most success have been covering lots of water, with egg patterns producing the best results while fishing the faster water. At this point the majority of anglers have switched gears and are now in steelhead mode. Anglers who fished the Upper & Lower Fly Areas have reported getting into steelhead in the faster pockets and transition water.
