On Thursday we had mild and dry conditions for the first half of the day with the temperature reaching into the mid 50's.  Around mid afternoon the rain moved in and the temperature slowly dropped throughout the rest of the day. Mild and dry conditions are expected for the first half of the day on Thursday, with rain and cooler conditions later in the afternoon and evening. On Tuesday we had mostly sunny conditions and the temperature reached into the mid 30's. The release from the dam is 1750cfs and Pineville gauge is around 2040cfs. It was another day of mixed reports from anglers depending on where they fished.  Some anglers fished here on the main river, while others went to some of the smaller local tributaries.... read more.
