Sunday morning started out in the teens but reached into the 30's in the afternoon. Slush ice was a factor in the lower end of the river in the morning but cleared in the afternoon. Friday was a cold day with the morning temperature in the single digits and struggling to get out of the teens in the afternoon. Late in the afternoon and during the evening heavy snow moved through our area and we picked up several inches of new snow. On Sunday we had very windy conditions along with scattered lake effect snow showers in the afternoon and the temperature reached into the 30's. The release from the dam has been 350cfs and Pineville gauge is reading around 583cfs.
