Daily Report
February 12 2018
Sunday was another nice day to be on the water, it was cloudy with calm conditions and the temperature reached near 40 degrees. The majority of anglers we spoke with reported having a good day with anglers getting into fish throughout the river. The anglers we spoke with who fished the Lower Fly Zone reported having the most success while dead drifting with nymphs. Anglers in the mid to upper section of river had success while bottom bouncing with flies or float fishing with egg sacs and beads in and around the deeper holes. In the lower end of the river anglers who were fly fishing had success while dead drifting with nymphs or egg patterns under a strike indicator. Anglers who were bottom bouncing or float fishing with egg sacs or beads in the lower end of the river also had very good success with most of the fish being fresh chrome. The extended forecast shows a mid week warm up with mild conditions on the way.
