Daily Report
February 13 2018
On Tuesday we started the day with the temperature in the single digits, but with plenty of sunshine the temperature reached into the 20's in the afternoon. In the morning slush ice was a factor in the lower end of the river but cleared in the afternoon. The few anglers we spoke with reported getting into some fish in the mid to upper end of the river. Anglers who were fly fishing had success while dead drifting with nymphs or single egg patterns. The anglers who were bottom bouncing had the most success with flies or egg sacs. Anglers who are float fishing have done well with egg sacs, pink worms or beads. Mild weather conditions are expected over the next couple of days.
