Daily Report

On Thursday we had warm and sunny conditions with the temperature reaching into the mid 70's along with a strong westerly wind. The anglers we spoke with who fished the DSR reported that the action was much better then the previous few days with plenty of fresh kings on the move. With the low water conditions the lower end of the river continues to get the most attention on a daily basis in areas such as the Ballpark, Town Pool, Longbridge/Staircase, Black Hole and the DSR. The mid to upper end of the river is getting the least amount of pressure, but anglers have reported some kings holding in and around the deeper holes. As far as the lake fishing goes, on the days the boats can get out, the fishing has been very good. The open motel dates have been posted on the motel page of the website. If you don't see the dates your looking for, it's always best to call and check to see if something just recently became available.
