Daily Report
September 10 2026
On Wednesday we had warm and humid conditions with the temperature reaching into the 70's. We finally got some much needed rain with scattered showers moving through in the afternoon and into the evening. Yesterday the few anglers we spoke with reported having a slow day depending on where they fished. The majority of action was kings, with some holding in the deeper holes or on the move on, one or two at a time. The lower end of the river continues to get the most attention on a daily basis in areas such as the Ballpark, Town Pool, Longbridge/Staircase, Black Hole and the DSR. We did speak with a few anglers that were able to find some pods of fish scattered throughout the mid section. As far as the lake fishing goes, on the days the boats can get out, the fishing has been very good. The open motel dates have been posted on the motel page of the website. If you don't see the dates your looking for, it's always best to call and check to see if something just recently became available.
