Daily Report

On Monday we had mostly sunny conditions and very little wind with the temperature reaching into the mid 60's. We currently have steelhead scattered throughout the river from top to bottom. With the recent stretch of warm weather the water temperature is above average for this time of year so the fish have been holding more in the faster pocket water. A variety of egg pattern and colors depending on the day has produced the best action which is normal for this time of year, especially with some salmon still actively spawning. On really windy days leaves have been a factor, so non leaf colors work well under those conditions. The forecast for the next couple of days looks nice so anglers should get out and take advantage of the conditions. The open motel dates have been posted on the motel page of the website.
