Daily Report

March 13 2018

On Tuesday we had cloudy conditions with the temperature reaching into the 30's. In the afternoon we had scattered snow showers but no major accumulation. The few anglers we spoke with reported having a good day while getting into fish in the upper, middle and lower end of the river. Over the last couple of days anglers have been getting into a mix of fresh chrome as well as colored up fish. Anglers who were float fishing did well with blue egg sacs or beads. For those anglers who were fly fishing, dead drifting with black stoneflies, rusher nymphs and wiggle stones produced steady results. Indicator fishing with pale colored egg patterns such as sucker spawn, glo-bugs or estaz eggs continues to produce results as well.
