Daily Report
September 23 2018
On Sunday morning we started out in the 40's but with plenty of sunshine the temperature reached into the 60's in the afternoon. We have fish spread out in the river from top to bottom and over the weekend the majority of anglers we spoke with reported having plenty of action with a mix of kings and cohos. In the lower end of the river fresh fish have been entering the river on a daily basis. In the mid to upper end of the river anglers have reported fish holding in the deeper holes and larger runs. Over the weekend the most productive fly patterns were estaz stones, glo-bugs, estaz eggs, bunny leeches, comets, egg sucking leeches and woolly buggers. For those anglers who are bottom bouncing with spinning gear, blue and pink egg sacs have produced steady results.
