Daily Report

October 02 2018

On Tuesday we had some heavy rain move through in the morning along with scattered showers in the afternoon. We picked up a couple inches of runoff but nothing major. Overall we had mixed reports from anglers, some groups did well and had plenty of action, while others had a slow day. In the mid to upper end of the river anglers reported fish holding in the deeper holes and larger runs. In the lower end of the river the best reports we had came from anglers who fished the DSR. Anglers reported getting into mostly kings along with a few cohos. Over the last couple of days the most productive patterns have been estaz eggs in chart, orange, pink and blue. Woolly buggers in black, olive, brown, white and grizzly. Black egg sucking leeches with orange, chart or pink head. Comets in chart, pink and orange. Goo-Bugs in egg, chart, pink, orange, oregon cheese and viagra gold. Steelhead hammer in red, black, blue and purple. Steelhead stone in red, orange and purple.
