Daily Report

Overall it was a good weekend and the majority of anglers we spoke with reported getting into some fish. For those anglers who are fishing for salmon, the mid to upper end of the river is your best bet with the most salmon holding in and around the gravel areas. The lower end of the river has been producing the most consistent steelhead action on a daily basis, but a few are being caught in the mid to upper end of the river as well. The most productive patterns have been egg patterns such as glo-bugs, estaz eggs & sucker spawn, flesh flies and egg sucking leeches. Anglers who are bottom bouncing or float fishing have also done well with pink and blue egg sacs.
