Daily Report

On Friday the temperature started out in the 30's, but with blue skies and plenty of sunshine the temperature reached near 60 degrees in the afternoon. The anglers we spoke with who fished the DSR reported having another very good day while getting into mostly steelhead. The anglers who were fly fishing had the most success with egg patterns, flesh flies and egg sucking leeches. The anglers who were bottom bouncing or float fishing did well with pink and blue egg sacs. In the upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville anglers reported getting into mostly kings along with a few steelhead.
