Daily Report
December 21 2018
On Friday we had very mild weather conditions and the temperature reached into the upper 50's along with high winds. Either way it was great to see anglers getting out on the water and taking advantage of the weather. With the recent rain it's no surprise with the increase in water level. In the lower end of the river the visibility was off color from runoff. The best reports we had came from the mid to upper end of the river. Anglers who were float fishing or bottom bouncing had the most success with pink and blue egg sacs or beads. Anglers who were fly fishing had some success dead drifting with stoneflies and woolly buggers or indicator fishing with egg patterns. The most productive patterns were sucker spawn, estaz eggs, steak-n-eggs, steelhead buggers, wiggle stones, beadhead stones and leeches.
The shop and motel will be closed on December 24th & 25th.
