Daily Report

Wednesday was another cold and snowy day, the low was in the single digits and the high reached into the teens. In the afternoon we had scattered lake effect snow showers and picked up a couple inches of new snow. Anglers we have staying in the motel fished the upper end of the river in Altmar and reported having a few hook ups but nothing landed. Slush ice was a factor in the lower end of the river and did not clear. With the recent cold temperatures the majority of anglers have been fishing the upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville where slush ice is not a factor.
