It was nice to finally have a weekend where we had good weather and water conditions at the same time. It was also great to see anglers getting out and taking advantage of the conditions. Sunday was another decent day with cloudy conditions, no wind and the temperature reached near 30 degrees. Over the weekend anglers reported getting into fish in the Lower Fly Zone, Schoolhouse Pool, Wire Hole, Ellis Cove, Bovines, Trestle Pool, Sportsman Pool, Town Pool, Black Hole and DSR. With the low water the fish have been holding in and around the deeper holes and larger runs. Anglers who were fly fishing had the most success dead drifting with nymphs and single egg patterns. The most productive patterns have been wiggle stones, rusher nymphs, black stoneflies, steelhead buggers, pink san juan worms, estaz eggs and glo-bugs. Anglers who were bottom bouncing or float fishing had the most success with blue egg sacs, beads or pink worms.
