With the recent rain and melting snow coming off the Tug Hill the dam release on the Salmon River is currently running at 5000cfs plus runoff.  At this point it's best to wait until the river returns to a safe and fishable flow. The best option for anglers who still plan on fishing may be some of the smaller local tributaries.
