Daily Report

On Monday we had mostly cloudy and dry conditions with the temperature in the 40's. The water level is still high, but it's much less then it was over the weekend and the conditions have improved. This may not be your favorite water level, but the river is fishable and anglers are fishing. If your not comfortable with the higher water, some of the smaller local tributaries is another option. We got mixed reports from anglers stopping into the shop, some anglers managed to get into a few fish, while others had a tough day with no action at all. For those anglers who were fly fishing dead drifting with egg patterns produced the best results. For those anglers who were bottom bouncing with spinning gear or float fishing had the most success with blue and pink egg sacs or beads.
