Daily Report

On Thursday we picked up a few inches of lake effect snow. In the morning the temperature was above freezing but it dropped throughout the day along with windy conditions. The best reports we had came from the upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville. The fish have been holding along the inside seams and softer water of the bigger holes and larger runs. Anglers had the most success bottom bouncing or float fishing with pink and blue egg sacs. Over the next couple of days colder temperatures are expected long with lake effect snow.
