Daily Report

On Friday the temperature was very cold and despite blue skies and plenty of sunshine the temperature struggled to reach out of the single digits. With the cold temp's slush ice was a factor in the mid to lower end of the river and did not clear. In the upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville slush ice was not a factor. We didn't get many reports from anglers, some of the groups that arrived for the weekend didn't have time to hit the water or we just didn't hear back from groups that arrived earlier in the day.  Lake effect snow is in the forecast for Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening.
