Daily Report

February 07 2020

As of early this morning we had sleet and freezing rain that moved through the area and is expected to transition over to snow. We will be in a Winter Storm Warning for the remainder of the day with heavy snow and windy conditions in the forecast. Over the last couple of days anglers who had the most success did so in the upper and lower end of the river. In the upper end of the river anglers have had success in the Lower Fly Zone, Schoolhouse Pool, Wire Hole, Trestle Pool and Pineville. In the lower end of the river anglers have had success in the Town Pool, Longbridge/Staircase, Black Hole and DSR. Anglers who were fly fishing had the most success dead drifting with nymphs or indicator fishing with single egg patterns. For those anglers who are bottom bouncing or float fishing, egg sacs, pink worms, beads and marabou jigs have all produced results.
